Andrew Short Signs With Team Chaparral Racing

If you are an Andrew Short fan, there sure has been a lot of celebrating lately! Shorty just won his first ever premier supercross on April 21st at the 2012 Seattle Supercross. We are proud to announce even more good news for the like-able Texan pro racer. Andrew Short has apparently signed a contract to ride for Team Chaparral Racing. The news was officially announced to Chronic MX earlier today. Chaparral Racing was an incredibly loyal contributor to the sport of motocross in the past, and we expect great things out of this team for the upcoming season. When I first heard the news I thought to myself… ‘well that makes a lot of sense’. Short rides for L&MC which is a combo of two veterans with a wealth of winning knowledge …Larry Brooks (James Stewart’s old team manager) and the King of Supercross, Jeremy McGrath. Chaparral Racing was a big sponsor for Jeremy McGrath back in his days of pure domination. Yet, somehow Team Chaparral quietly disappeared from being a big sponsor in the racing scene. We are glad to see them back at a time when many sponsors have pulled out. A big congratulations to Andrew Short, Larry Brooks, Jeremy McGrath and Chaparral Racing! We look forward to seeing Shorty on the podium in the outdoors this 2012 season, a place where he really shines! Reporting for Chronic MX, I’m Charlie B.

Man thats awesome news!! Thanks Chronic MX for the report. The website is awesome, best new MX website around…saw a dude wearing a Chronic MX T shirt at Seattle SX LOL! Shorty is my favorite rider…he’s not cocky or anything…just a cool cat that deserves to win. Still so stoked that he won Seattle…it was awesome. I bet the Chaparral move will be a good one.
