Chad Reed and Dean Wilson choose Florida Sand to Prepare for 2011 Southwick Outdoor Motocross National
Southwick marks round 10 of the 2011 Outdoor Motocross season. A season that so far has been no less thrilling than an already unbelievable 2011 Supercross season. In preparation for Southwick, Chad Reed, Dean Wilson, and numerous other top pros chose to practice in the deep sand of the sunshine state. Southwick’s ‘MotoX 338′ track is notorious for being the most sandy track on the national circuit… so Florida MX is a perfect match. Florida is home to sandy, whooped-out and sometimes gnarly motocross tracks. Florida is also home to Dade City MX, a historic Florida motocross facility, with deep sand, a legendary race program, and an open door for some top pros to use it at this time every year. With the points race as tight as ever, in both classes, both Dean Wilson and Chad Reed cant afford to skip practice time. Each rider can still take home a title. Talented MX videographer Jesse Adair caught the Florida freight train of Reed, Wilson, Byrne, Chisholm, Keylon and more, cranking out practice laps at the Dade City MX track in this killer DCMX video.
Enjoy, Cheers Rocket 88
