Chad Reed wins top podium at Lucas Oil AMA Pro Hangtown outdoor motocross race

Love him or hate him, Chad Reed kicks tail in our sport of motocross. He is quite possibly the biggest surprise in motocross within the last 12 months. Who would have guessed a year ago that he’d almost win the 2011 Monster Energy Supercross series…and with a stacked lineup including everyone fast on the planet! Not to mention that he earned that 2nd place final podium spot while starting his own team as a privateer, enduring the tragic death of his friend Andrew MacFarlane and conquering a diagnosis of CHRONIC fatigue syndrome (not to be confused with Chronic MX…which he has always had since he waas a kid). Who knows, maybe it was the introduction of his son into this world? Oh well, whatever it is, Chad Reed had an incredible performance at hangtown… a #1 podium finish to start the 2011 Lucas Oil Outdoor Motocross season. Congrats Chad…see you back here in Dade City to celebrate, cheers Rocket 88.
