Chronic MX film: Florida Amateur Motocross, East Bay Monster Energy Supercross Open Money Moto 2 Round 2
Chronic MX was recently present to capture some really exciting florida amateur motocross racing footage under the friday night lights at East Bay Motocross track in Tampa. Check out this Chronic MX “short film” of MOTO 2 at their 2011 Monster Energy Super Motocross Open Money series. The racing was awesome and Florida continues to prove to be one of the best places in America for competitive amateur motocross racing. Michael “pine cone” Picone gave chase to Tyler Livesay, the current open money class series points leader, but his efforts were dampened by a first moto crash when his front tire washed out while pushing hard into a turn. Donald Solley, another local “fast guy” and a motocross school trainer, was also ready to take to the podium but had a pretty nasty crash into the back of Ian Millet causing Solley to DNF Moto 1. Check it out in slow motion! CK Douglas, a 15-year-old from Zolito Springs, and Kyle Vibbert proved to be surprises of the night. Unfortunately Vibbert had bike problems in the second moto after an impressive 3rd in moto 1. Tyler Livesay meanwhile finished first both motos, with Picone finishing second in Moto 2 and Solley returning from his crash to capture a 3rd. Livesay, CK Douglas and Picone were the bread winners for the night! Cheers Rocket 88.
