Could Chad Reed end up winning the 2011 Monster Energy Supercross?

The amount of talent on the starting line in this years 2011 Monster Energy Supercross is simply amazing. Trey Canard, Ryan Villopoto, James Bubba Stewart, Ryan Dungey, Chad Reed and more! We have not seen a year with so many talented motocross legends providing race after race of side by side battles, every weekend, since the late 80′s! One rider that is currently in the top 5 is Chad Reed. The Australian Motocross star, who resides just miles away from the Chronic MX camp, has absolutely astonished the motocross community by putting in an amazingly consistent and incredibly determined ride so far for 2011. As a matter of fact, his rides have been so good that he could possibly even win this years 2011 Supercross title! He has admitted that his results have even surprised himself this year. It would be an extraordinary feet…considering the fact that less than 1 year ago he had no factory ride, was contemplating hanging up his career, and only decided in the last-minute to start his own team (two two motorsports)! Now, we all know that he certainly wont get to the top podium spot this year without some serious good luck…especially while battling the wall of resistance from the other MX champions foaming at the mouth for the same title… but, I’ve always heard that “the harder you work the luckier you get”…and one thing is for sure about Chad Reed, he’s a serious “work horse”. Unfortunately the stroke of good luck he’ll need did not come his way in St. Louis this past weekend as he ended a disappointing 4th place, due mostly to an error by the track crew leaving a tough block in his path. Looking at this past interview of Chad Reed on Fuel TV’s “first hand”…it’s probably no surprise that the MX champion is going to fight until the end. We have just 3 races left and who knows, Chad Reed just could end up winning the 2011 title…Cheers, Rocket 88
