Dean Wilson Interview prior to being crowned 2011 Outdoor Motocross Lites champion, Pala Race to decide 450 Champion

Just weeks before winning the 2011 outdoor motocross lites championship title at Steel City, Dean Wilson was pounding out serious practice laps at Chad Reed’s compound in Dade City, Florida…15 Minutes away from Chronic MX’s home turf. It seemed to work, as Wilson won Unadilla and never looked back. The Florida sun did him good … seems that something about this area produces some seriously fast motocross riders. Ironically, Dean probably earned his true skills years earlier while fighting in the trenches of the Canadian Amatuer Motocross circuit. Well hats off and a big congratulations to the young Scottish lad for taking home the title in a class that was stacked with talented riders. Wilson’s victory gives the solid pro circuit team yet another motocross championship title. Check out this recent interview with the lites champ as he began his end of the season winning streak. Pala Raceway in California marks round 12 of the outdoor series, the final race for both classes. With Wilson already wrapping up the title and crowned the lites champion, all eyes will be on the 450 title chase between Ryan Vilopoto and Ryan Dungey. Villopoto currently leads Dungey, but only by a mere 14 points, not enough for Vilopoto to start celebrating. In motocross, anything can happen, so stay tuned for the results from Pala and the crowning of the 450 champion. Cheers, Rocket 88.
