Florida Amateur Motocross: Minis shred Sunshine MX chasing Cycle Springs payout: AJ Meadows wins

One of the sweetest sounds in Motocross is hearing an 80cc two stroke fly on a loam outdoor track… especially in the hands of a fast smooth young gun. Well that sound was a reality this past July 30th as Sunshine MX  hosted a special event race. Cycle Springs Powersports offered a $1,000 purse to mini riders in the “85cc Money Race”. There was no shortage of killer motocross action for the Chronic MotoX gang. AJ Meadows brought that sweet sound to the humid Florida night, lap after lap, for a dominant victory. Several other fast mini riders gave chase with numerous spills and thrills to see. Donnavan Daniels had a nasty crash at the start of Moto 2 that caused a red flag, though good news is that he is now ok. The restart produced the exact same result …AJ Meadows out front with another holeshot, making it 3 for 3. Kevin Steele and Drew Swenson rounded out the podium.
