James Bubba Stewart Wrist OK, Cleared To Race High Point Outdoor Motocross National

The motocross community was anxiously awaiting news from the JS7 camp all week, as to whether or not James Stewart would be racing round 4 of the 2012 Lucas Oil outdoor motocross season. As previously reported, Stewart sustained a wrist injury last weekend at Lakewood’s Thunder Valley, when he crashed in a muddy turn. The crash instantly started a massive debate amongst fans regarding the exact cause of the crash. Many blamed a worker who crossed into his path, stating it caused him to lose concentration. Other’s however, believed it was rider error and nothing else. stewart’s history of frequent crashes fueled the debate even deeper.

Whether you are a Bubba fan or not, everybody wants to see the top riders back on the track. Too many pro racers have been sidelined in 2012 with serious injuries, and the sport needs James, and any other current riders to remain in the 2012 title chase. So it is good news to report that the motocross community got what it needed…. Stewart was cleared to race this weekend at High Point. Stewart sent the news out via his twitter account earlier this evening. He stated, “I’ll see you guys this weekend in Pa. Looking forward to racing in front of my fans“. Let us hope for some exciting, clean racing … and a chance to see Ryan Dungey, James Stewart, and all of the other talented racers cranking out motos at the scenic Pennsylvania track. Cheers, Chronic MX.
