Million Dollar Supercross Race in Las Vegas: Best Motocross Racers in the world to chase ‘Monster Energy Cup’ Jackpot

On October 15, 2011, Feld Motor Sports will present one of the most fascinating supercross races in years. Smack dab in the middle of a worldwide economic recession, motocross racing will celebrate a strong healthy heartbeat as the action packed sport offers the largest cash prize for a single night event in the sport’s history. A sweet $250,000 purse, with a first time ever shot at a Monster Million dollars to the winner of all three main events, is on the line. Succesful motocross professionals already make serious cash…but a Million dollars to win one night’s event has attracted the worlds best MX racers. Legends such as Ricky Carmichael and Jeremy McGrath will race along side current heros James ‘bubba’ Stewart, Chad Reed, Ryan Villopoto, Ryan Dungey and more! The Sam Boyd Stadium will host this historic event. Apparently the track will be a one of a kind “supercross-motocross hybrid”, unlike any other stadium race in the world. SPEED plans to televise the 3 hour event LIVE. A newly created format of three main event races will make up the highly anticipated ‘Monster Energy Cup’. Even more radical news is that the event will feature a one-class only format, offering riders the option to choose any bike of their choice, including 250 and 450cc four strokes or 125cc and 250cc two strokes. Chronic MX thinks they should offer TWO Million bucks to a racer who wins it on a 125cc! It certainly would be awesome to see a racer on a two stroke. The unique “anything goes” option offers teams maximum flexibility and variety for the best set-up options to win this upcoming supercross battle. It looks like Chronic MX will be packing a bag and definitely heading out to see this one! Cheers Rocket 88.
