MX Tire Shootout: Best Motocross Dirt Bike tires / product review

After countless hours of testing dozens of motocross tires from numerous manufacturers, the Chronic MX team completed this unbiased “Best Motocross Tire” review, to assist mx riders with the difficult task of choosing great mx tires.

We tested on various tracks throughout the state of Florida, using three separate motocross bikes: a YZ 250 two stroke, a YZ 250f four stroke, and a YZ 450f four stroke. After ripping hundreds of laps and busting half a dozen knuckles changing tires… we compiled this list below consisting of our finalists and favorites.

The tire shootout produced what we believe are truly some of the best motocross tires currently on the market. The list consists of all of our favorite motocross tires, including our team’s overall top choices (staff favorites). If it’s not listed below…chances are we didn’t like it!

We tested on four unique Florida motocross tracks, that all consisted of extremely different terrain: Hardrock Cycle Park’s “Outback” (blue groove), Bartow MX (sand), Sunshine MX (intermediate), and Croom’s gnarly ORV hare scramble playground (sand, rock and root mix).  All of the tires listed below made the premier list as a great choice… with our top favorites noted with as a staff favorite.
