New Recovery Drink “Kill Cliff” Enters The Motocross Market
A new recovery drink named ‘Kill Cliff’ has successfully entered the motocross market. We could consider them ‘the little guys’ when compared to the billion dollar industry giants of Red Bull and Monster Energy. However, placing Kill Cliff in the same category as those sugary, caffeine loaded, giants would be a mistake. Kill Cliff is not an “energy drink”… it is a “recovery drink”. Kill Cliff is much more like Cytomax, Ryno Power or maybe even Gatorade and is used by serious athletes for increased performance. Kill Cliff is focused on the task of helping athletes recover quickly from intense physical stress and fatigue.
The mastermind behind the new Kill Cliff drink knows quite a bit about body fatigue and recovery. Todd Ehrlich, Kill Cliff’s founder, is a former Navy Seal. He came up with the idea during his Navy Seal boot-camp, when he realized that there must be a better solution for exhausted, sore body’s, enduring brutal training, than taking Ibuprofen and other anti inflammatory pain medications. He envisioned a drink that was more effective than swallowing a handful of pills. Fast forward years later, and Ehrlich’s vision has become a reality. Ehrlich hired chemists and health specialists to create a unique formula to execute his vision…and cans of Kill Cliff were the outcome.
The natural recovery drink is already being actively used by dozens of professionals in numerous action sports, such as stock car racing, wake-boarding, snowboarding, motocross, mountain biking, and even UFC fighting. Kill Cliff happens to be huge in the booming ‘Cross-Fit’ industry too. At the recent 2012 Loretta Lynn Amateur Motocross Championships, the Kill Cliff logo could be seen on numerous motocross racer’s front fenders, as well as several team big rigs. Several pro riders, such as Jeff Sterling, Jacob Hayes, Andrew Matusek, and Gannon Audette, as well as a host of “up and coming” amateur motocross racers use and endorse the drink. AG motor-sports recently added Kill Cliff as a major sponsor to its AG Motorsports/Cernics/KTM team. Our staff tried the drink, while battling the heat and exhaustion all week at Loretta’s, both on and off the track, and we came away impressed.
What makes the Kill Cliff drink so unique is its overall function combined with natural ingredients to reach specific goals. First off, following grueling motos or intense fitness exercises, the drink aids in the active recovery process . It does this by using numerous special ingredients, such as Lipase just to name one. Secondly, it claims to be an anti-inflammatory using milk thistle. Thirdly, it uses anti oxidants to boost the immune system such as protease, ginger and green tea extract… as well as ginseng to assist with blood pressure and memory. Kill Cliff has no sugar, less caffeine than the average soda, only 15 calories per can, and is loaded with vitamins, enzymes and natural herbs. Look for this new ‘good for you’ sports recovery drink at local Kroger or Publix grocery stores, GNC health, or check out their website at www.killcliff.com. Cheers, Chronic MX.
