Ricky Renner Races Two Stroke YZ 125 At 2012 Daytona Supercross

There is nothing sweeter than the sound of a 125 two stroke blazing sandy berms in the hands of a talented rider. Daytona 2012 fans will have a chance to hear that sweet sound thanks to Privateer Ricky Renner. Ricky is the younger brother of FMX champion Ronnie Renner. Ricky is the proud hero to bring a two-stroke back to the Supercross lites class. Even more astonishing, Ricky will make the comeback aboard a 2009 Yamaha YZ 125. Renner teamed up with Get Dirty MX for a one race deal. Chronic MX is a big fan of two strokes and also happens to be good friends with Ricky. He told us that he is obviously expecting it to be an enormous challenge just to make the main event…especially against the more powerful 250f four strokes of the lites class…but Ricky said was totally pumped regardless. It’s all about having fun at Daytona for me, and I want to do my very best and give the fans a show to remember. Go get em Ricky! Cheers, Rocket 88.
