Ryan Dungey wins Toronto Supercross, Chad Reed leads Monster Energy Supercross Series Point Standings

It just can’t get any closer than this! Can you believe that just 8 points now separate the top 3 riders after this weekend’s Toronto Supercross!!…and only 22 points separate the top 5 racers! I don’t think there has been a supercross season this tight in a very very long time. Congratulation to Ryan Dungey on the win…his first of the season. Chad Reed’s second place was enough to push him into first place in the series. I still think his crash with James Bubba Stewart in Atlanta lost him some serious respect though. Crazy that just a few weeks ago it looked like Villopoto would probably dominate…yet now, any of the top 5 racers can still win! Place your bets now…who’s it gonna be to take the #1 plate in 2011? Well, one thing is for sure…James Bubba Stewart is still the fastest. He finished a solid 4th place in Toronto after yet another amazing come from behind charge (and riding with a bruised and battered body too!). Chronic MX can pretty much guarantee that Bubba’s not happy with his 4th place finish though. James wants that #1 plate back on his bike and as the series gets closer to the end, Bubba will pretty much have to win every single race left if he wants a chance at the title.
