Ryan Villopoto Recovery Going Well, Hopes To Race 2012 Monster Energy Cup

Ryan Villopoto is up and walking around less than a week after his ACL knee surgery. The reigning 2012 Supercross champion was present at the Las Vegas Supercross, signing autographs and assisting his Kawasaki teammate, Jake Weimer. Villopoto suffered a serious, season ending, knee injury during the 2012 Seattle Supercross, but had already locked in the 2012 title. The champion already seems focused on a solid recovery strategy to get back to his winning streak. Villopoto hinted at the possibility of racing later this year, in the 2012 Las Vegas Monster Energy Cup, on October 20th.
