X-Tream Clean Raises The Bar For The Ultimate Dirt Bike Wash And Shine

X-Tream Clean products are the ultimate dirt bike ‘wash and shine’ arsenal for motocross enthusiasts.  We noticed the company’s booth at a recent amateur motocross event and decided to give their products a try. It was a smart move… since then, our Team Chronic MX motocross bikes have never looked sweeter. If you’re still using dish-wash soap to clean your ride, it’s time to wake up. X-Tream Clean’s ‘MX ATV Wash‘ is amazing stuff and, to no surprise, is the company’s number one selling product.

At just $7.95 for a 32 ounces spray bottle, or $16.95 a gallon, the MX ATV Wash is a bargain. This specialized wash is designed for more than just a basic cleaning. First of all, ‘MX ATV Wash’ has special detergents that literally lift dirt and oily films off the surface of the bike. Secondly, the wash has a small percentage of wax in it which helps water to sheer off instead of bead up, while adding a unique shine. Thirdly, unlike most other brands, the MX ATV Wash has ‘mud off’ added to it’s formula, to help keep mud and dirt from sticking to fenders and parts once clean and back on the track. The acrylic polymer used in the ‘mud off’ acts as a release agent and adds a protective barrier. On top of all of these benefits, the MX ATV Wash also has special ‘corrosive inhibitors’ added to it’s formula to protect metal surfaces from water’s destructive tendancy. We originally used Simple Green, but have now realized how toxic and potentially damaging using product intended for kitchen sinks or household cleaning can be on dirt bikes. MX ATV Wash is biodegradable, non flammable, and phosphate free. It is also non caustic, meaning it is safe on anodized or powder coated metals.

Following a good rinse using our newly discovered MX ATV Wash, we absolutely love using X-Treme Clean’s ’Quick Hit’ spray. This stuff puts an amazing ‘showroom shine’ back into any dirt bike. Just spray it all over your bike’s cleaned plastic after using the MX ATV Wash,  and you will be absolutely amazed with the results. Our team bike’s literally looked brand spanking new after using Quick Hit. Quick Hit retails for $9.95 for a 13oz aerosol spray can and is basically a multi purpose polish containing silicone. There are several products currently on the market similar to Quick Hit, such as Maxima’s SC-1 for example, that are all silicone based sprays. The difference between them all, is the percentage of silicone used in their formulas. X-Treme Clean believes it is best to use slightly less silicone than it’s competitors, in order to have less of an oily residue, and hence, attract less dirt and dust once clean. The company’s slogan ‘makes old look new’ is certainly appropriate, as the Quick Hit spray did wonders to make any voids or scratches in our plastic completely disappear, while at the same time ’popping’ the color.

X-Tream Clean makes dozens of  great off-road cleaning products, including their extremely popular ‘Mud Guard’. If you are looking for the best in motocross cleaning solutions, we highly recommend you stop using toxic kitchen cleaners and check out X-Treme Clean products for yourself. The Chronic MX staff came away fully satisfied with the results after using their products. Look for the company’s booth at your next motocross event or visit the company website at mxwash.com.  Meanwhile, stay tuned to http://www.facebook.com/ChronicMotoX for more helpful tips. Cheers, Chronic MX.
